Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $84.27 per barrel

February 17, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are falling in Friday’ trading.

The price of April Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures exchange fell by $0.87 (1.02%) to $84.27 per barrel by 09 a.m. Following the trading on 16 February, Brent crude futures for April decreased by $0.24 (0.28%) to $85.14 per barrel.

By 9 a.m., the price of WTI crude oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) dropped by $0.87 (1.11%), to $77.62 per barrel. Following the trading on 16 February, the price of March WTI oil futures declined by $0.10 (0.13%) to $78.49 per barrel.
