January 16, Fineko/abc.az. The validity period of the contracts of the Baku International Bus Terminal Complex with carriers transporting passengers in intercity and inter-district directions has been extended, ABC.AZ was informed at the Complex.

The contract document on establishment of relations between the bus terminal and the carrier is signed not for 1 month, but for 3 months. The goal is to improve the quality of passenger service, ensure the profitability of carriers, create transparency, and ensure convenient and safe delivery of passengers to their apartments.

According to the Regulation on the Bus Terminal & Bus Station and the Rules of urban & inter-district passenger carriages, endorsed by Cabinet’s decree from 5 February 2009, a contract is concluded between the bus terminal and the carrier for urban and inter-district passenger transportation.
