October 20, Fineko/abc.az. Anglo Asian Mining PLC has started intensive exploration work at Vezhnali gold deposit of Zangilan district, ABC.AZ reports, citing AAM Azerbaijan finance director Ilham Khalilov.

"After the liberation of Zangilan district from the Armenian occupation, we started exploration of Vezhnali field. The camp has already been installed. We’ve also already submitted a four-year exploration program to the Azerbaijani government," Khalilov said.

He added that intensive exploration will be conducted in parallel with the demining of the territory. In view of this, Khalilov points out that the company does not yet have access to a large part of the field's territory.
