July 28, Fineko/abc.az. For 4 months of 2022, Iran's income from gas exports amounted to about $4 bn, ABC.AZ reports, quoting Iranian Oil Minister Javad Ovji.

“In the first 4 months of 2022 (according to the Iranian calendar, the year began on 21 March 2022 - Ed.), we increased exports of oil, gas condensate and gas by 55%. During these four months, we received about $4 bn from gas exports, which corresponds to the indicators of entire last year,” Ovji said.

Iran has the world's largest gas fields, and most of its production is used to meet domestic needs.
