June 16, Fineko/abc.az. For the past 5 months of 2022 the oil & gas sector goods for $14.228 bn were exported from Azerbaijan, including crude oil for $8.58 bn and natural gas for $5.99 bn.

ABC.AZ was informed at the State Customs Committee that in the first 5 months of 2021 the oil & gas sector goods for $6.519 bn were exported from Azerbaijan, including crude oil for $4.927 bn and natural gas for $1.335 bn. Thus, exports of goods belonging to the oil & gas sector grew by 2.2 times in quantitative terms.

The growth of export revenues on oil & gas sector goods is caused by a sharp increase in oil and natural gas prices on world markets.
