June 6, Fineko/abc.az. Russia and Turkey have agreed on a temporary plan on sending of grain ships from the Ukrainian port city of Odessa.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Russian media that according to the plan, the Turkish Armed Forces will be responsible for mine clearance in the coastal area of Odessa.
Turkish vessels will accompany grain vessels from Odessa to the neutral waters of the Black Sea and Russian warships from there to the Strait.
The roadmap is expected to be on agenda during the visit of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to Turkey on 8-9 June.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the grain issue will also be discussed during Lavrov's visit to Ankara.
