The State Customs Committee informs that wheat imports grew by 13.2% in value terms and decreased by 15.7% in quantitative terms against Jan-Apr 2022.
Over Jan-Apr 2021 Azerbaijan imported 365,348 tons of wheat for $92.994 million.
The price (average cost) of a ton of imported wheat for thre past 4 months of 2022 was $341.7 (a rise of $87.2 or 34.2%), whereas for Jan-Apr 2021 it was $254.5.
