April 26, Fineko/abc.az. “Azerbaijan is reducing the requirements for the pension capital of those who work in underground works, in special fields of art, as well as in jobs with particularly harmful and difficult working conditions.”
ABC.AZ reports that Musa Guliyev, the chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Labor & Social Policy, made the above-said statement during the discussion of the Law on Labor Pensions in 1st reading at today's parliament session.
“Article 9.1, which enshrines the right to an old-age pension on preferential terms, cancels one of the requirements for pension capital and 25-year insurance experience, reduces the requirement for pension capital to 34,560 manats (currently it is 48,960 manats for men and 63,360 manats for women), to the expected payment for months up to 144 (currently 204 months for men, 264 months for women), as a result of which the pension amount increases, the right to an early pension for 5 years is granted in exchange for 2 conditions (general experience or experience of capital and special work).
According to the proposal made in articles 9.1, 9.2 and 9.3, the retirement age of men and women is identified based on the philosophy and basic principles of law.
