April 25, Fineko/abc.az. MP Vugar Bayramov said that innovations are expected in connection with the pension.

ABC.AZ reports that MP noted that the changes relate to the indexation of the size of the insurance part of the pensioner's labor pension after his death.

"According to the amendment made to Article 18.3 of the law, in the event of the death of a pensioner and the subsequent occurrence of the right of his family members to a survivor's pension, the amount of the insurance part of the labor pension will be indexed during this period, and the insurance part of the survivor's pension will be assigned in a higher amount.

Let's say that at the death of a pensioner, the insurance part of his labor pension is 50,000 manats. At that, the average pension amount is 347 manats (50,000 manats/144 months). But the right of his family members to a survivor's pension arises after 7 years. And the percentage of indexing over these years was 30 years. At that, 15,000 manats will be added to the capital of 50,000 manats. In this case, the insurance part of the deceased citizen's labor pension will be increased to 75,000 manats, which will allow his family members to receive more funds. Thus, the average pension for this person will increase from 347 to 421 manats. With large amounts of the insured amount, the increase will be expressed in a larger percentage," the MP explained.
