April 1, Fineko/abc.az. The total wealth of the richest Russian entrepreneurs has fallen by $50.1 bn since the beginning of the year.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Bloomberg Billionaires Index rating data that Lukoil co-owner Vagit Alekperov lost the most, his fortune decreased by $17.4 bn, and he became four times poorer.

So, since early 2022 the state of Russian businessmen in the rating has decreased by $50.1 bn.

Vagit Alekperov, a businessman of Azerbaijani origin, became the president and co-founder of Lukoil, whose fortune has declined the most. So, his fortune decreased by $17.4 bn. In December, the billionaire's fortune was estimated at $26.16 bn.

The richest Russian is now one of the main owners of Norilsk Nickel, Vladimir Potanin. Since the beginning of 2022 he has become poorer by $1.47 bn, but his fortune still totals $29.4 bn. The fortune of Novatek co-owner Leonid Mikhelson has also significantly decreased, falling by $4.9 bn to $27.5 bn. He ranks 2nd in the ranking. In 3rd place is the main owner of Severstal, Alexey Mordashov, whose fortune declined by $5.7 bn to $23.1 bn.
