Ukrainian crisis has affected agriculture - wheat has grown in price

February 28, Fineko/abc.az. The events related to the beginning of Russia's military operations in Ukraine do not pass without a trace in the agricultural markets.

ABC.AZ reports that wheat futures in Chicago rose 9% (to $9.34) after Western countries announced tough economic sanctions against Russia. Corn has risen in price by 5% and soybeans by 4%.

Large-scale military operations conducted in Ukraine, including in Kiev, have forced Western countries to apply tough economic sanctions, including a ban on transactions with the Russian Central Bank and rapid withdrawal of funds from the system.
