February 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani gas transportation via the Trans-Anatolian Gas Pipeline (TANAP) to Turkey and Europe in 2022 is planned at the level of 16.2 bn cu m.
TANAP consortium’s CEO Saltuk Duzyol stated at a press conference for Azerbaijani journalists that the TANAP gas pipeline is currently being used at 100% of its capacity.
"We’ve already reached a plateau in the transportation of gas for Turkey through this pipeline and annually transport 5.7 bn cu m of gas. In general, this year TANAP transportation volumes for Turkey and Europe are planned at the level of 16.2 bn cu m of gas," he said.
Duzyol added that starting from 30 June 2018 and as of the end of January 2022, 14.5 bn cu m were transported to Turkey via the TANAP gas pipeline, and 9 bn cu m for European consumers.
