February 2, Fineko/abc.az. According to the data of the State Customs Committee, in 2021 Azerbaijan purchased 1,148,100.77 tons of wheat abroad in the amount of $331,946.01 thousand.

As reported by ABC.AZ, the purchase price of a ton of wheat was $289.13.

It should be noted that in 2020, the cost of imported wheat amounted to $296,905.18 thousand for a volume of 1,365,100.13 tons, the purchase price of a ton was $217.5.

The purchase price of wheat in 2021 increased by $35,040.83 thousand, or 11.8%, and the volume decreased by 216,999.36 tons, or 15.9%.
