February 1, Fineko/abc.az. The Agrarian Credit & Development Agency (AKIA) under the Ministry of Agriculture will monitor business entities that are given subsidized loans.

ABC.AZ reports that this is stated in the presidential decree (dated 19 December 2018) on improvement of state support for agriculture & leasing activity in the agricultural sector.

Under the new decree, AKIA’s authorized credit organizations regularly monitor business entities and prepare quarterly reports.

In order to control the targeted use of funds, the Agency may selectively conduct independent monitoring of individual economic entities.
