January 12, Fineko/abc.az. Defense Minister Col.Gen Zakir Hasanov received the new Commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces temporarily deployed in Azerbaijan, Maj-Gen Andrei Volkov.

ABC.AZ reports that the meeting parties discussed the operational situation in the Karabakh economic zone, where Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed.

Maj.-Gen Volkov was introduced by Lt-Gen Rustam Muradov.
