January 12, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are stable in Wednesday’s trading after a jump following the the previous session.
Data from the American Petroleum Institute (API) showed decrease in oil stocks in the U.S. for the seventh week running. According to API, stocks in the U.S. last week lowered by 1.077 million barrels after falling by 6.432 million barrels a week earlier.
By 9:21 am, at the London ICE Futures Exchange the March’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.07 (0.08%) to $83.65 per barrel. Following the trading on 11 January, the price of Brent crude futures for March grew by $2.85 (3.53%) up to $83.72 per barrel.
By 9:21 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the WTI oil futures for February rose in price by $0.06 (0.07%) up to $81.28 per barrel. Following the trading on 11 January, the price of February’s WTI oil futures soared by $2.99 (3.82%) up to $81.22 per barrel.
