April 24, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) has announced the renewal of its car fleet.

Ali Gasimov, the head of the Tariff Policy & Marketing Department of Azerbaijani Railways (ADY), stated that they plan to buy 50 new locomotives and 1,600 new freight cars.

"So far 503 km of the Baku - Beyuk Kesik railroad section, which is part of international transport corridor North-South, has been overhauled, new equipment installed at 23 stations and 3,100 freight cars purchased," Gasimov said.
