Azerbaijan unveils data on wheat import – rise on wheat cost and decline on its import volumes

December 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has published the statistical data on wheat imported for Jan-Nov 2022.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee that the country imported 1.017 million tons of wheat for $287,557 for the reported term.

Compared with Jan-Nov 2020, the value of wheat imported in the country grew by 9.5% and its volume decreased by 17%.

Over Jan-Nov of this year Azerbaijan’s wheat imports made up 2.76% of total imports.
