December 9, Fineko/abc.az. The city of Agdam is going to be symbiosis between Baku, Sumgait, and Ganja. The master plan on the city is a very interesting project.

ABC.AZ reports that Azerbaijani president’s special representative for the liberated territories (with the exception of Shusha district) stated about this in an interview for newspaper Xalq.

Huseynov noted that well-known foreign design institutes worked over the master plan together with local architects: "There will be many modern buildings in Agdam. The city will be constructed on the scheme of concentration of smart cities. 20% will be covered with greenery. It will have 4 woodlands, 23 city parks, etc. One of the largest city streets in the world is the streets of Lisbon with width of 60 m. Two such large streets are planned in Agdam, one of which will be 60 m wide and the other 55 m wide. There will be greenery along the streets, as well as bus, pedestrian and bicycle paths. There will be plenty of parking spaces. We tried to plan so that even if people had their own cars, there would be no need to use them. Public transport used to protect the ecology of the city should run more on clean fuel."
