December 2, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 51,392.57 tons of apples for $27.6 million over the first 10 months.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Customs Committee, export earnings increased by 30.2%, while compared with the relevant term of 2020, the volume of exported apples grew only by 0.4%.

In October alone, 7,287.84 tons of apples were sold abroad, and sales revenue amounted to $4.57 million.

Thus, according to SCC’s calculations, this year the cost of each kilogram of apples exported from Azerbaijan abroad reached 92 gapiks, whereas last year this figure was 70 gapiks.
