November 5, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is preparing a roadmap on the exploitation of the wind energy potential of the Caspian Sea. The map is being developed jointly with the International Finance Corporation.

ABC.AZ reports that Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov, who took part in the forum in Baku, stated about this at a press conference.

He noted that the relevant groups of specialists have joined the process: "This will be a versatile roadmap. The main goal of the roadmap will be to study how the potential of wind energy in the Caspian Sea can be used so that it is attractive both from economic, technical, and commercial angle, and relevant investment projects can be implemented in this direction," Shakhbazov said.
