June 3, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan and BP signed an Executive Agreement on cooperation in the field of evaluation and implementation of the project on the construction of a 240 MW solar power plant in Zangilan-Jabrayil zone.

ABC.AZ reports that the document was signed within the framework of a strategic decision related to the creation of a green energy zone in the territories liberated from occupation and the development of the renewable energy sector of Azerbaijan, and the commitment to reduce carbon emissions by 35% by 2030, as well as the implementation of BP's strategy to become a zero-emission company by 2050.
