March 6, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) signed a protocol of intent to continue cooperation in the field of environmental protection.

The protocol was signed by SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev and UN Resident Coordinator Ghulam Isakzai.

The Protocol implies broader cooperation in such areas as climate change, energy efficiency, reduction of carbon dioxide emissions and general environmental protection.
