January 25, Fineko/abc.az. The category of land plot designed for new intensive forest plantations will be taken into account in the payment of lump-sum subsidy for planting.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Agriculture that farmers who want to receive a lump-sum subsidy (4,400 manats) for per-hectare planting of intensive nut orchards in 2021 should pay attention to whether the gardens are located on free forest land or in mountain/foothill zones.

In the first case, land for a lump-sum crop subsidy in the forest fund category will be taken into account through the Electronic Information System of Agriculture. The main conditions for obtaining lump-sum subsidy for planting are as follows: the laying of the garden in 2021, planting of seedlings in accordance with the rules of intensive gardening during the monitoring period and installation of a drip irrigation system.
