President clarifies why Armenian Armed Forces did not destroy the mosque in Aghdam

December 18, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev took part in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS in the form of a video conference.

ABC.AZ reports that at the video conference the head of state spoke about the dilapidated mosque in Aghdam.

"There is no city of Aghdam - it is destroyed. There was only one dilapidated mosque left, and when we began to ask why it was not destroyed, we were told that it was a landmark on the ground for artillery, for guidance," President Aliyev said.
