October 9, Fineko/abc.az. It is unacceptable to allow Armenia to continue policy of giving religious overtones to military actions.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Hikmet Hajiyev, the head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan.

According to Hajiyev, in this way, Armenia wants to cover up its own policy of destroying mosques and religious monuments, destroying the material and cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. In particular, the Armenian armed forces recently launched rocket attacks on the mosque in Beylagan and the Imamzadeh complex in Ganja.

"Azerbaijan has implemented projects on the restoration of Christian religious monuments in many parts of the world, including the Vatican. We once again express our respect and sympathy to Christians all over the world. After the liberation of our lands from occupation, all cultural and natural monuments in these territories will be restored in accordance with their purpose," Hajiyev emphasized.
