July 20, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 6 months of 2020 the poultry enterprises of Azerbaijan produced 36,400 tons of live poultry meat versus 33,800 tons for Jan-Jun 2019.

In the 1st half of this year the production of eggs reached 402 million eggs against 359 million eggs for Jan-Jun 2019. In general, the total number of hens in these poultry enterprises amounted to 12.155 million heads, and an average of 101 eggs were received from each hen.
