June 8, Fineko/abc.az. The crop area of corn in Balaken increased by 302 hectares.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Center for Agricultural Development that this year the area sown for corn in the district increased by 302 ha compared with last year and reached 7,515 ha.

The Center noted that in the season Balaken farmers have set a goal to produce up to 45,000 tons of corn.

Currently, work is underway on agrotechnical care of fields.
