April 23, Fineko/abc.az. 2,638,477 people in the world have infected with the coronavirus.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that such statistical data was distributed by the World Health Organization.

To date, the number of deaths from this virus in the world is 184,248 people, and the number of those who cured of it is 721,997 people. The highest number of deaths (47,681) was recorded in the U.S.

In countries neighboring with Azerbaijan the figures are as follows: in Turkey – 2,376 people, in Russia - 513, in Iran – 5,391, in Armenia - 24, and in Georgia - 5 people died from the pandemic.

20 people became victims of the virus in Azerbaijan.
