December 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Nov Azerbaijan transported 206.2 million tons of cargo and 1.786 bn passengers.

The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan reports that against the same term of 2016, cargo carriages grew by 1.8% and transportation of passengers by 2.3%.

"64.1% of cargo was transported by road, 25.9% by pipelines, 6.3% by rail, 3.6% by sea and 0.1% by air," the Committee said.

88.1% of passengers were carried by road, 11.6% by the underground, and 0.3% by air and by sea.
