October 26, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Sept 2026, revenues of the information & communications sector of Azerbaijan increased in real terms by 11.1% versus the 2025 same term up to 3.257 billion manats.

According to the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, amid the rapid growth of the sector, its share in country's GDP reached 2% and in non-oil/gas GDP - 2.9%.

Investments in the information & communications sector also observed significant growth for Jan-Sept 2026. In real terms, they grew by 57.3%, reaching 376.5 million manats.

These indicators show strengthening of the digital economy amid growing demand for the Internet, mobile communications and digital services, as well as modernization of the relevant infrastructure.
