October 14, Fineko/abc.az. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak announced during Russian Energy Week in Moscow that Russia and the United States have initiated joint diesel fuel supplies to global markets under a new agreement, with initial shipments already underway.

Novak noted that the deal will allow Russia to boost its oil refining capacities.

Meanwhile, Russian special envoy Kirill Dmitriyev highlighted that diesel prices in New York dropped by 5% following the announcement and the easing of sanctions on Russian diesel. He added that economic and investment cooperation between Moscow and Washington will extend beyond the diesel agreement.
