October 12, Fineko/abc.az. According to the new resolution signed by Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s governor Taleh Kazimov, an additional rule of classification will be applied, when assessing the quality of loans given to legal entities and individual entrepreneurs engaged in the purchase and sale of goods by installments (on credit).

According to the new rule, banks will compare data on the total volume of the portfolio of installment sales and the number of buyers provided by borrowers with indicators in credit bureaus.

If, during the comparison, the match for any of these indicators is less than 90 percent, this loan will be classified as an unsatisfactory asset.
