September 28, Fineko/abc.az. An agreement on strategic cooperation has been signed between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and German company VNG, according to SOCAR’s official statement.

The document defines the framework for future cooperation between the two companies. The agreement covers long-term partnership in the field of natural gas supplies, as well as related infrastructure and regulatory issues.

In addition, the parties plan to cooperate closely in the field of energy transition, as well as on scientific and technical issues related to hydrogen and its derivatives.
