September 4, Fineko/abc.az. Europe’s largest asset manager, Amundi SA, alongside other major global funds managing a combined $27 trillion, has resumed buying gold on expectations that prices will rally back to $5,000 per ounce by year-end.

Asset managers including Pictet, Robeco, Fidelity, and BNP Paribas have re-expanded their allocations following gold's recent pullback from record highs.

Analysts highlight gold as a vital hedge against systemic debt risks and currency debasement. Billionaire investor Ray Dalio of Bridgewater Associates recently urged investors to allocate up to 15% of their portfolios to gold to mitigate U.S. debt crisis risks.
