August 14, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree on the creation of the "State Audit" information system (DAIS) and the regulation of related matters.

Along with the establishment of the system, the Decree also approved the "Regulations on the 'State Audit' Information System." The Cabinet of Ministers has been instructed to resolve issues arising from the Decree.

Key Measures and Responsibilities:

• The Chamber of Accounts will oversee the formation, operation, organization, and development of the DAIS;

• In coordination with the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the system will be hosted and maintained within the "Government Cloud" (G-cloud) and registered in unified state databases;

• The Ministry and the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security will ensure full compliance with information security and system integration standards;

• State institutions have been tasked with taking the necessary measures within three months to enable data exchange via the E-Government Information System and submitting a report to the President.
