August 10, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Russia has requested credit institutions and cooperatives to review restructuring applications from businesses impacted by unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks.
The central bank advised lenders to adjust payment schedules and suspend debt repayments for a mutually agreed period, regardless of formal eligibility for statutory credit holidays. Lenders were also urged not to impose fines or penalties, demand early repayment, or raise interest rates.
The recommendation follows UAV strikes targeting logistics facilities of Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries, which disrupted distribution networks and increased financial pressure on sellers.
