July 31, Fineko/abc.az. Speaking in a joint press statement with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov and at the 3rd meeting of the Interstate Council in Cholpon-Ata, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev announced that relations between the two countries have reached the highest level of interaction — an alliance.

The Azerbaijani leader emphasized that allied relations carry immense responsibility and that both nations are fully prepared for it.

President Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan will continue to support each other across all fronts, including international platforms, trade and economic cooperation, and security enhancement.
