July 17, Fineko/abc.az. For the first 6 months of this year, Azerbaijan’s gas exports totaled 12.7 bcm, the Ministry of Energy informs.

5.9 bcm of overall gas was exported to Europe, 4.9 bcm to Turkey, including 3 bcm supplied via TANAP, 1.2 bcm to Georgia, and 700 million cu m to Syria.

According to the Ministry, over Jan-Jun 2026, the country extracted 25.4 bcm of natural gas.

"Out of the total gas production, 7.3 bcm of extraction accounted for Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, 13.7 bcm for Shah Deniz, 800 million cu m for Absheron, and 3.6 bcm was produced by SOCAR," the Ministry reported.
