July 13, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev highlighted key details regarding regional transport infrastructure and Washington's role in peace talks during the opening ceremony of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum.

Reflecting on the head of state's address, it is reported that the US administration fully understood the strategic importance of the Zangezur corridor, recognizing it as a crucial project to connect Azerbaijan with its Nakhchivan region. Stating that the US team worked very efficiently and conveyed the necessity of peace to Armenia, the President noted: "During the historic meeting at the White House, President Trump, the Prime Minister of Armenia, and I signed a trilateral statement. At the same time, the foreign ministers of the two countries initialed the peace agreement."
