July 13, Fineko/abc.az. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated that ties between Baku and Washington have reached an all-time high during the opening ceremony of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum.

Reflecting on the head of state's address, it is reported that relations between the US and Azerbaijan have been elevated to the level of a strategic partnership. Highlighting President Donald Trump's peace-oriented policy, Ilham Aliyev noted: "When Azerbaijan and Armenia were in the final stage of negotiations, President Trump and his team created a framework that made peace possible." Recalling his landmark meetings in Washington and Davos, as well as Vice President Vance's visit to Azerbaijan where a declaration on strategic partnership was signed, the President emphasized that bilateral relations have never achieved such a high water mark before.
