July 7, Fineko/abc.az. As of July 1, 2026, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan grew by 3.2% compared with the beginning of the year and reached 887,129, the State Tax Service informs.

Over Jan-Jun 2026, the number of active VAT-payers in the country increased by 5.1% up to 61,368.

As of this date, the number of active business entities (objects) was 242,208 (a rise of 4%).
