Discussions held between central banks of Azerbaijan and Switzerland

July 2, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Banks of Azerbaijan and Switzerland discussed the possibilities of expanding bilateral cooperation.

The CBA informs that a delegation led by Aliyar Mammadyarov, first deputy chairman of the organization, held a meeting with a delegation led by Martin Schlegel, Chairman of the Swiss National Bank, Christoph König, State Secretary of the Swiss State Secretariat for International Financial Affairs, and Pietro Lazzari, State Secretary of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, during a working visit to Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the current state of cooperation between the central banks of Azerbaijan and Switzerland, and exchange of views on global and regional economic processes, the current macroeconomic situation in the country, and the dynamics of financial sector development took place.
