June 18, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-May 2026, the total cost of livestock production in Azerbaijan increased by 2.6% against the 2025 same term, and the total cost of crop production increased by 1.1%.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee that as of June 1, 443,600 tons of vegetables (1.5% more than a year ago), 168,900 tons of potatoes (0.1% more), 54,000 tons of fruits and berries (55.4% more), 30,600 tons of cereals and legumes (69.1% less), 556 tons of green tea leaves (11.5% more) were harvested from the fields.

In addition, in 5 months, the country produced 244,400 tons of live meat, 915,300 tons of milk, 988.7 million eggs, and 10,700 tons of wool. In annual terms, meat production increased by 4.7%, while decline was observed on production of milk by 0.1%, on eggs by 2.2%, and on wool by 5.2%.
