June 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's current operating balance surplus amounted to $1.664 bn in the first quarter of this year.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that this is about 45.6% more versus Q1 of 2025.

The quarterly surplus was formed due to balance of $2.38 bn (16.6% less) on the foreign trade balance, deficit of $590.3 million (21.6% less) on the services balance, balance of $37.6 million on the primary revenue balance (1 year ago there was deficit) and balance in in the amount of $177.8 million (66.95% more) on the balance of secondary revenue.
