June 11, Fineko/abc.az. The recent downward momentum in the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey’s (TCMB) reserves ground to a halt last week, shifting back toward a moderate expansion trajectory.

According to ABC.AZ, the central bank's gross reserves ticked up to $159,4 billion during the week ending June 5, ascending from the $159.2 billion recorded in the preceding tracking period.

Key Structural Adjustments:

  • Net International Reserves: Over the same timeframe, the bank’s net core reserves climbed from $45.8 billion to settle at $46.8 billion.

  • Net Reserves Excluding Swaps: A much sharper pace of structural recovery was observed in net reserves stripped of commercial swap volumes. This volatile gauge surged from $26.6 billion to $29.4 billion in a single week.
