November 16, Fineko/abc.az. An earthquake of magnitude 6 points occurred in Azerbaijan.

The Seismological Service Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan informs that the quake occurred at local time 23:48 on the territory of Agdam district.

"The quake of magnitude 6 points was felt in the epicenter and 5-3 points in the nearby residential settlements," the Center said in a statement.

The strength of tremors in the epicenter at depth of 25 km was 5.7 points.
