May 26, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is likely to encourage development of meat processing industries in 2026-2030.

ABC.AZ reports that this matter is reflected in the State Program of development of industries on production & processing of agricultural, fishing and aquaculture products in Azerbaijan for 2026-2030.

According to the document, it provides for the use of subsidies for cattle slaughtered in meat processing plants, under certain conditions, as well as the provision of urgent tax benefits and the introduction of incentive mechanisms to attract investment.

At the same time, a steady increase in the production of meat and meat products is envisaged.
