May 13, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey and Armenia resume direct trade, ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It was noted that as a result of the steps taken as part of the normalization process, which has been ongoing since 2022 between the two countries, preparations for the start of direct trade were completed on May 11, 2026.

At the same time, it was noted that work on opening the border between the two countries is currently underway.
