May 6, Fineko/abc.az. Government interference in market processes is unacceptable today, as it may lead to serious problems in the future.
ABC.AZ reports that Tahir Rzayev, the chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy, said this during the V Agribusiness Development Forum, held in Baku as part of Caspian Agro Week.
According to Rzayev, entrepreneurship and farming should not be considered solely as a source of income.
"It is also about creating new jobs, improving the welfare of society, ensuring the abundance of products and food security. Today, the Azerbaijani society highly appreciates the work of entrepreneurs, and the country has created wide opportunities for business development," he said.
Committee’s chair underlined that entrepreneurs should constantly improve their knowledge and adapt to modern requirements.
"Today is the era of technology and artificial intelligence, so approaches must also be updated. It is impossible to achieve future success without these changes," Rzayev said.
He also noted that ensuring food safety is one of the key tasks of the country and requires the joint work of the state and the private sector.
In addition, Rzayev touched upon the complaints of entrepreneurs relating to difficulties in the sale of products. In his opinion, under conditions of free enterprise, a business should independently analyze the market, evaluate the cost of products, take into account forecasts and calculate the expected profit in advance.
